After Laurent Klenja decided to create and publish many TikTok filters with the program Effect House, His TikTok filters has been viewed 1 BILLION times and shared 1 MILLION times. Since publishing his TikTok filters called “ red led lights “ & blue led lights “ TikTok users posted 63,400 videos and viewed the filters 836M times. We spoke to Laurent Klenja about his filters and how they blew up unexpectly.
What made you start getting the idea of creating filters?
I was really bored in quarantine and I wondered how do we create Snapchat filters. So I searched up on google how to create filters.
What was the first ever filter you published?
The first ever filter I published was “ laurent klenja “ I didn’t know how to work the program, so It was a pretty basic and simple filter that only said my name when you used it.
Can you tell us what kind of filters do you make on TikTok & Snapchat?
On Snapchat I make filters that are funny and sometimes I make filters that are good for selfies. TikTok I make filters that make you look nice.
What Snapchat & TikTok filter that blew up first?
The very first Snapchat filter to ever blow up was a filter titled “ sexy “ It was just a filter I put out as a joke thinking nobody would use. The first TikTok filter to blow up was actually two filters at the same time the filters were “ blue led lights “ and “ red led lights “.

My favorite Snapchat filter has to be “ flip phone “ it’s a filter I made to bring back the old iconic flip phones. My favorite TikTok filter is “ Fisheye’ instead of wasting your money on a fisheye camera you can use my filter instead.
Why did you began making TikTok filters?
When I found out I could start making my own filters on TikTok I was very excited because I always wanted to.
How do you feel about so many people using your filters?
It’s still crazy that I have millions of people using my filters because my dream was to reach a million on anything, so having many of my filters on Snapchat and TikTok reach 1 million views is crazy.
Do friends/family talk to you about your filters?
Yes once in awhile I have my friends and family talking to me about them.
Besides your filters, Are you working on any projects?
I am, I’m working on a podcast that will be called LURXNT that’s coming soon.
What did people think about your filters when you first started making them?
At first I had few people being negative about them saying they won’t ever blow up but I’m happy I proved them wrong.
